BEGINNERS WORKOUT Instructor - Jo Walker

  What a fantastic way to start the week with this high energy workout, perfect for complete               beginners through to intermediate level. Our 60 minute workout will burn calories like never             before with easy to follow basic steps. The content of this class changes weekly so please don’t       think you’ll be left behind because everyone else will know what they’re doing.. they don’t !

WHAT TO WEAR
  As long as it’s comfortable and allows you to move freely wear what you like, it’s not a fashion           show so please don’t think you’ve got to spend a fortune on clothing. A comfortable pair of               trainers are important in this class, but again don’t get misled into thinking they’ve got to be             expensive. Bring a towel and a bottle of water.
  This really is a great class for burning calories and helping to boost weight loss, you turn up and     leave me to motivate and guide you through, you’ll be glad you came.
  Oh and did I mention…The music is fantastic!!

POWER CIRCUITS Instructor - Jo Walker

A 60 minute power blast class.  This supercharged session has many challenges in strength, speed, stamina and endurance pushing your workout to the limits. For those of you who already have a reasonable level of fitness but just want to see how far you can be pushed…

Find your weakness and make it stronger!

Bring a towel and water.

This class is great if you’ve hit a wall with your training and can’t get passed it, working through all major muscle groups it will take you to a new level.

FRIDAY NIGHT TRAINING Instructor - Jo Walker

What a way to end the week. Friday nights are suitable for intermediate/advanced fitness levels. Circuit based enabling you to work at your own pace. Great for stress relief!

What a mixture this class is -
Combination circuits plus boxing, step, skipping, balls and weights - improving strength, endurance, speed, stamina and flexibility.

Attention! This workout will give you a serious adrenaline burst to start your weekend..

Tums & Bums BODY CONDITIONING Instructor - Jo Walker

If it’s toning you want this is the ultimate top to toe toning class that’s going to give you the results your looking for. Firstly we gently raise the heart rate to kick start the fat burn phase and then incorporate inch loss toning exercises that will help to reshape and strengthen those areas we all have a habit of hating!

WHAT TO WEAR
Something comfortable that allows you to move freely and a pair of trainers. Bring a towel and some water.  

This class really does give out what you put in - you will rapidly start to see and feel a difference in your body. The music’s great, the atmosphere is friendly and the instructor doesn’t let you give up… even when it really hurts!!
ABS 'N' BACKS Instructor - Jo Walker

THIS CLASS WILL START SOON - TIMES & DAYS TO BE CONFIRMED

A half hour class designed to tone and strengthen the stomach and back. This is your chance to get the flat stomach you've always wanted or at least work towards it. Most people look at this class and wonder how on earth they could get through 30 minutes of abdominal work 5 minutes is usually painful enough! In this class we have the time to work through each of the main abdominal muscles rather than having 5 minutes to blast the whole lot, you need to strengthen both the back and abdominal muscles in order to achieve a flatter looking stomach and this is the class to do just that. You are encouraged to start at your own level it takes time and gradually as the back and abdominal get stronger you will be amazed with the results. For men and women.
STEP & TONE Instructor - Jo Walker

Step your way into a fitter and healthier body with this class, designed to tone your body whilst you burn unwanted calories. Step is great for toning your thighs, tum and bum. Suitable for all levels from complete beginner to advanced.
The class is newly designed each week so don’t worry if you haven’t tried step before you won’t feel left behind because each week brings something new!

Step & Tone is a highly motivating class that will leave your feet tapping and a smile on your face.

STRETCH AND TONE Instructor - Jo Walker

Relax and unwind in this truly unique class. Improve flexibility, Core strength and balance whilst, Toning your arms, legs and stomach.

WHAT TO WEAR
Non restrictive clothing that allows you to move freely, wear layers to take off as your body warms up and then replace to keep you warm in the relaxation section. Bare feet - bring socks to keep your feet warm at the end.

This class is for those wishing to take a more gentle approach to exercising but don’t be fooled you’ll know you’ve worked your body but without putting any stress or strain on your joints.

This class is for 7 to 10 yr old boysand girls and its exactly what the name suggests FUN TIME, it includes circuts, trampelining, skipping, dodgeball, games and much more. The perfect place for them to use up some restless energy on the winter nights when its to cold and dark for them to play outside after school.

Socialise with Salsacise. Lively latin music mixed with sexy salsa moves, exercise has never been so much fun! Come and learn sensational salsa dances, different dance every week for all abilities and ages. NO PARTNER REQUIRED!

5 - 7, 8-11, 12-16 Years Old SMOOTH MOVES Instructor - Gemma Bearman

Funky fresh kids and teens Jazz classes for all ages and abilities, no dance experience needed but you definately need a passion for dance!
5-7 yrs- A fun way to learn to dance by earning coloured badges and certificates - each colour a different level.
8-11 yrs & 12-16yrs- Enter competiitons, create your own dances every 6 weeks as well as learning a new routine almost every week.

KUNG FU Instructors - Matt Seal

The style is Northern Style Praying Mantis Fist, which originated in the Shaolin Temple, Henan Province, China, around 350 years ago, it is renowned for its range of kicks and hand techniques. The syllabus includes form work, applications, sparing (if desired), as well as traditional techniques deigned to teach the practitioner an array of self-defence moves. Kung fu students will benefit from the training in a range of ways including learning self-defence improves self-confidence and increases fitness, health and vitality.

TAI CHI Instructors - Matt Seal

Chen style t’ai chi is an excellent form of exercise that is suitable for anyone of any age, level of fitness, or previous experience of t’ai chi training.
The training methods used in the class allow the students to develop a greater sense of self-awareness, to refine postural alignments and to attain a deep and thorough state of relaxation which aids stress control, reduces blood pressure and strengthens the deep internal structure of the body, including the ligaments and tendons.
The classes include joint-loosening exercises, chi gung breathing, silk-reeling, pushing hands and will move into teaching the 11 short form.

BREAK DANCING Instructors - Eldon Evans

All basic aspects of Hip Hop in a workshop that explains the history and culture behind Breakdancing, Body Poppin' and Up Rocking. Lessons start simply leading to dance battles between crews. Great fun and super cool.
KICKBOXING Instructors - Eldon Evans

Freestyle Kickboxing for fitness, self defence, fun and confidence. Great for all ages why not give it a try!

PILATES Instructors - Jane Williams

Pilates exercise is taught on mats and also by means of specially designed equiptment that provides physical assistance and/or resistance . Every person who comes into the pilates studio will have a fitness screening which will ensure the exerises selected for that person will be safe and approriate.
Pilates exercises can help improve posture, alleviate lower back pain, increase awareness and motor learning.
